As a student my favorite part of piano lessons was getting to hear and see my teachers and fellow students play. This video showcase is meant to continue that tradition among my self and students.

Music literacy is freedom. As you read these words you don’t look at every letter, you recognize the words as part of your vocabulary and combine them to understand an idea.
Likewise, music literacy goes beyond reading black dots by building a vocabulary of chords, scales, and rhythms and learning the grammar of harmony that unifies them. Literacy applies to all genres, classical, jazz, pop, as well as improvisation and composition and can be taught at any age!
